The Connectory is the cyber-expansion of a real-live community of
entrepreneurs. The group, IBI Colorado, began in January 2003 with a small group of committed volunteers.
Today, our community is comprised of nearly 1,000 business creators. Of those,
over 200 have graduated from the IBI Free Enterprise Forum, the most visionary entrepreneurial training available today. Of those,
three dozen have already grown their fledgling businesses to values exceeding
one million dollars.
The secret is
cooperation.
We must credit our
inspiration and education to Mr. BJ Dorhmann and his magnificent creation, the IBI
Free Enterprise Forum. BJ, whose
father mentored the likes of Walt Disney, Napoleon Hill and Buckminster Fuller,
designed a revolutionary business model based on cooperation and integrity. The
result is paradigm-shifting, because it facilitates success that far exceeds
business as usual in America.
Although IBI Colorado began as a business support mechanism, it quickly
evolved into a long-sought vehicle for changing the world. Each week brought
the most amazing people and ideas to our door, affording us the on-going
privilege of watching dreams unfold into tangible companies.
The secret is
cooperation.
Above all, The Connectory
is a community effort. By consciously
cultivating the spirit and practice of cooperation, our community provides
support and resources that are unavailable in the official business world. The
result is that fewer businesses stumble, and those that do require less time
and trauma for recovery. Help is always available here. Mentors and coaches and
experts are always nearby. And because we understand that the success of one
speeds the success of all, there is always someone willing to pitch in.
The Connectory began as our attempt to more efficiently link our
community members to each other. When the idea of community blogging was born,
we began to fully grasp the huge potential it offered to advance our members'
projects. Since then The Connectory
has grown into a global outreach to introduce this century's most powerful tool
for change.
The secret is
cooperation.
